Is Mailr really free?
Yes. Generating an address, receiving mail, and reading it is free with no usage limits. We don't ask for a card, an email, or a name to get started.
How long do my emails stay?
As long as you keep the mailbox open. Unlike 10-minute or 45-minute services, Mailr inboxes don't auto-expire. Delete the mailbox and everything in it is gone immediately.
Can I send email from a Mailr address?
Mailr is receive-only by design. That keeps the service simple and impossible to abuse for spam. If you need to reply to a sign-up confirmation, just click the link in the email.
Is it safe to use Mailr for verification codes?
For low-stakes sign-ups, yes — that's exactly the point. We don't recommend it for banking, government services, or any account that holds money or sensitive data.
